Still way too early to tell anything. Kilgore had a 90,000 vote lead about half-an-hour ago.

Its going to be a close one.
As usual, when thats the case, I think there is a general disatisfaction with all the candidates
The results are hard to read because it depends when the areas report. Early was Kilgore, then thought it was due to areas around here reporting first (smaller, more Republican), expecting more areas around DC to be later areas to report.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
With 65% of the precincts reporting:
Kaine (D) 624,916 51%
Kilgore (R) 569,051 46%
Potts is carrying 2% of the vote. Sure Kilgore appreciates that in a close election such as this one.
